Professional Portrait Paintings
About the Artist
Gregory Gibson, OPA and PSA, is a retired Presbyterian minister and trial attorney of more than 40 years. More than 10 years ago, he picked up his brushes and never put them down again—today, he has returned to his youthful passion for art. After studying under highly renowned artists like John Osborne, Anthony Ryder, and David Mueller, he now devotes his energy and time to portrait painting.
He is already an award-winning artist who has been invited to exhibit one-man shows in his home state of Ohio. While he has painted a wide range of objects, it is his personal connection with painting portraits that inspires him the most. He loves the words on the gravestone of John Singer Sargent, “To Paint is to Pray.”
He is a member of the Oil Painters of America and Portrait Society of America.
